Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Project Overview

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority selected PG Advisory in February 2023 to provide on-call concession advisory services to support a new concessions program for Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the MoreRNO capital development program. The program includes two new concourses with 28 gates to be completed by 2028 and a goal of doubling the current concession footprint to approximately 50,000 square feet.

PG Advisory’s scope includes:

• A financial analysis of the current program’s performance with benchmark comparisons to peer airports.

• Identification of near-term actions to improve current program performance while the airport plans for two new concourses.

• Support for an expanded automated retail and vending program to mitigate service disruptions during future construction.

• Updated gaming concessions business strategy and industry outreach.

• Passenger feedback survey designed to gather RNO customer preferences and inform the new concessions program merchandise plan.

• Space and merchandise plan for new concession locations and redevelopment of legacy locations.

• RFP development, outreach, and proposal selection process.
